Pricing — the Daraism&Artists model

— An Invitation to Participate
At Daraism&Artists, our pricing is not a barrier; it’s an invitation to engage in a community built on care and dignity. We use a pay-it-forward model to ensure our journeys are welcoming, sustainable, and generous to the people who make them possible.
Our principle
Equity-based. Minimum suggested amount. Pay-it-forward.
How we price our journeys — the mechanics
- Minimum suggested amount
Each experience carries a minimum suggested amount that represents the baseline cost of offering the journey with respect: fair pay for artists and hosts, materials, preparation time, site care, logistics, and essential overhead. - Pay-it-forward contributions
Guests who are able are warmly invited to contribute above the suggested minimum. These additional contributions support our “Pay-it-Forward” Fund—an initiative that allows us, first and foremost, to welcome those we believe deserve the opportunity to engage meaningfully with us. This fund also enables us to initiate and sustain educational, cultural, and social change programs that reflect the spirit of Daraism&Artists. - Lump-sum vs per-person pricing
- 1–4 guests: a lump-sum minimum suggested amount of usd 250.00 per group.
- 5+ guests: a per-person minimum suggested amount of usd 50.00 per person.
- for student groups: learning expeditions focused on social entrepreneurship, responsible tourism, sustainable development, cultural and creative industries, culture exchange, and meditation sessions minimum suggested amount of USD 10.00 per person for groups of 10 paxs and above.
- Some of the deeper magics of Siem Reap and Cambodia—those that echo most with your AREAS OF INTERESTS, your story, and your state of wellbeing—may call upon a constellation of artists, cultural stewards, and logistical care. These experiences are woven with intention and require thoughtful coordination. Their pricing reflects the scale of artistry, preparation, and the shared commitment to honoring memENTS THAT COULD BE JUST MAGICAL! ✨
If the pricing feels out of reach…
Please don’t hesitate to contact us. We understand that everyone’s circumstances are different, and we’re committed to making our experiences as accessible as possible. Through our Pay It Forward Fund, we offer confidential support to guests who we believe would benefit from meaningful participation. Even if the fund is temporarily unavailable, we’ll do our best to find a solution—with flexibility, care, and respect.
Dara Huot is a strong advocate for equitable access and believes deeply in creating opportunities for all.
And if, despite our best efforts, we’re unable to offer support at a given moment, please know: it is never from a lack of trying. It comes only from real limitations—not from indifference.
To foster inclusivity and welcome all who seek meaningful connection, we offer some of our most cherished encounters as sit-in-coach or joint tour programs, with weekly or bi-weekly departures. These include:
- “Village Festival” – a celebration of EVERYDAY LIFE, community, rhythm, and resilience.
- “Cambodia’S SOCIO-Economic Deep Dive! – a journey INTO CAMBODIAN EXPERIENCE, MORE THAN 40 YEARS OF REBUILDING THE NATION.
For student groups and emerging changemakers, we also curate learning expeditions and cultural exchange sessions, each gently framed by a short meditation practice. These are offered at a lower price tier to ensure broader access and deeper engagement.
Our hope is to open as many doors as possible—for dialogue, discovery, and the joy of shared experience.
